I loved the tall windows with their arched tops...later we ended up at Costco and I sketched my fellow shoppers as usual. |
A day or two earlier, we were at Liberty Hospital to have J. checked out...always interesting gadgets in those places! (The bird list it from my sketch on the facing page...) |
You're still the best, Kate. Love the community center building sketch but I always enjoy most your melange sketches, like the arched window and people sketches overlapping one another.

Thanks so much, Larry! I really like composite pages, too...sort of reflects what life is really like, I think.
ReplyDeleteWonderful trio of drawings, joined together by the brick color and line quality. I like the pensive Dr. Adiga.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marcia! I see why I use my burnt sienna up first...and I liked him too, he was really concentrating!
ReplyDeleteYou're so right about composite pages! They definitely express the stream of consciousness. Love the sketchs but for some reason the list of birds tickles me.
ReplyDeleteBarbara, a LOT of my pages have the birds observed that day! Even the one of the community center mentions the gulls and the eagle we saw on the way home...and thanks for the kind words!
DeleteNice to see another body from Missouri. I am still trying to get outside, cane and all to do some real sketching. Then will post soon. I live in St. Clair, MO a very small rural town. I have very interesting things at my home out of town on a small farm.
