Fall's Creeping Round the Corner
I was out early this morning with the local plein air group at Townsend Park near Rockford. The park is about 12 miles from my house. Kind of chilly but about 10 people showed up for the session on pastels or just to work. This is my take, today, on the fall color that is working it's way down from northern Michigan and into the local area.

Great how the deep blue-green shadows contrast with those shimmering reds. You've upped my anticipation for the yet-to-unfurl display of color here in Iowa
