Since I was driving to Wichita anyway to buy a few groceries, it seemed like a good time to treat myself to a chicken biscuit and a sketch. And stand up for freedom of speech.

  1. Excellent sketch.
Lunch at Chick-fil-a in Chicago on Chicago and Wabash was very crowded, good humored and delicious! (I went for the carrot and raisin side)

What happened to the days of "I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it"?

  2. I love the carrot raisin salad! And what a wonderful school of thought: actually defending your opponent's right to free speech. I miss that.

  3. "I may detest what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."-- Voltaire.

And I love your sketch! We have a Chick-fil-A in Liberty, but I've never tried it...

    1. And of course that's also quoted as "I' may not agree with," "I may disagree with," and a number of variations, but it always ends with "I will defend to the death your right to say it."

  4. Whichever way you word it, I wish more people today lived by it.
I know biscuits are NOT Primal Blueprint food, but they remind me of my Grandma -- a once-in-a-while treat. And tastes so lovely with yummy chicken in it.

    1. Yep, I figure that fits in the 80/20 rule, sometimes a treat is JUST what you need.
