Life's eventful!

We just got home from the Ozarks, where I walked and stood a LOT, then shopping, then to the City for J's 18-month post-op checkup (all's well!)...

And I ended up using this!  Hooray, glad I had it...better, now!

  1. That's the most loved & beautiful walker I've ever seen. That's the thing about vacations--taken out of ones usual routine, you do things differently and then pay for it later.

  2. Isn't THAT the truth! It was worth it, but I'm still a bit more sore than usual. And today we've been working on rearranging things in the living room around our GOLDFISH. That's singular. He lived in our outside pool, we bought him an aquarium and got it set up today, moving around the whole living room to do it. Just nuts...but he is so pretty. I'll be sketching him too!

    1. Pets deserve pampering. Or maybe it's we need to pamper them. Does your fish have a name? Or shall I just wait for the drawing to have it revealed?

    2. Marcia, it's Norman! We had a bunch of goldfish and they all died but one. Joseph called him Norman Bates! And yep, I sketched him last night...

  3. What an amazing sketch of a walker. Most times I would attribute such sketch to love of an object....maybe not this time. Although, I am pretty sure great walker sketches are an untapped genre... either way great mastery of chrome tubes.

    1. Thanks, James, I was grateful to have it! My most painful day was on my birthday last week, and I was glad I was able to hobble back and forth to my shed!
